Alpha Zeta strives to excel in scholarship, leadership, and service to the agricultural community. \ s, -y ' Alpha Zeta’s chairman for the dance marathon, Ernest Pyle, explains the purpose of the event and its need for support: “The Four Diamonds Fund’s purpose is to provide relief from ‘ extraordinary' financial burdens for v the families of children with cancer, including leukemia. “It costs an average of $5,000 per year to cover all outpatient expenses of each child with leukemia and thousands more for each month of in-hospital care. It is impossible to sterilize an animal’s skin without extensive preparation, but just because a sterile injection site is impractical does not mean one should not be as clean as possible. More problems can be created with dirty in jections than solved. Most treatments of ones own animals can be enhanced by just simple rules. Read and follow label directions, be sure the drugs have been properly handled, do a clean job of administering, and most im portant, if not sure or in doubt, consult your veterinarian.
