ZOOK Route 655, Belleville, PA 717-935-2948 WHAT'S NEW - FORAGE BLOWER The Farm Equipment Division of Koehnng m troduces their new high capacity Fox 660 forage blower. The new 660 is designed to handle up to 70 tons of haylage and up to 150 tons of corn silage per hour. The heavy-duty fan is nearly sixty-inches in diameter which permits greater lifting and volume, according to Fox engineers. It runs comfortably at regular 540-rpm PTO speed. White... semi-mounted plows...you can’t outgrow them because they grow with you. White’s 508, 588 and 549 semi-mounted plows offer you two ways to stay in step with your tractor horsepower. First, White semi-mounted plows allow you to adjust the cutting width from 14 to 16, 16 to 18, or 18 to 20-inches, depending on the model you choose. Second, when you buy a White semi mounted plow today...you can add an extra bottom when you trade tractors and can handle more bottoms. making full use of tractor torque Fox engineers designed the 660 to keep up with the unloading capacity of even the largest forage wagons or highest silos. The 36 inch wide hopper is easy to approach and its combination auger/shaker pan keeps moving material along to the fan cleanly, and without blow-back, or plugging. A convenient shutoff clutch lets the operator bring the fan up to speed first, then engage the shaker pan when he’s starting with a full hopper and allows him to disengage the auger/shaker pan without cutting power. The shaker pan operates at two speeds: a high speed for normal conditions and a slower speed when wet, sticky haylage is being handled. (V~-^v Lancaster Farming, Saturday, February 4,1978 An optional magnet is available with the 36 inch wide shaker pan. The magnet helps keep metal debris from being blown into the silo, according to Fox engineers. A water input on the top of the fan compartment lets the operator add water to help moisten dry haylage The Farm Equipment Division of Koehnng, headquartered in Appleton.
