During the meeting, Mrs. Harvey Moyer, sushme chairman, announced that 15 Now that it's all over, I have a few thoughts to impart concerning Farm Show. My first question is, why hasn't someone invented Farm Show collision insurance for the human body? Of course, it would have to be “no fault” since you could never begin to catch the millions of culprits who ram you black and blue every second you perilously navigate through the lemming-like crowd during that infamous week in Harrisburg. And, too, there ought to be spill insurance, ketchup insurance, and chocolate ice cream in surance so that you would feel compensated every time a total stranger uses you as a Handy Wipe for all his excess, overflowing cups and cones. And, too, I definitely feel that there should be a major health insurance plan which all the susceptible “sickles" like myself could cash in on for that flu-mfected drafty, dusty week. A. R. The next meeting of the group is January 24 at the home of Mrs. Lydia Cleaver. And welcome to them And, one more thing. During lunch hour I strongly affirm that Farm Show officials should take a lesson from all regulatory bodies and use the social security number system to determine at which time each individual could buy his or her food. Or, even simpler than that, why not go by the alphabet? Anyone with a last name beginning w'th “A” through “C" could buy French fries at 10:30 a.m.; “D” through “G” at 10:45, and so on all the way down through the alphabet. Order. What it takes is a little order. (I decided that as I shoved and butted my way through the crowd for a milk shake the other day.) Yes, well, it’s over fo r another year, but the question remains What am I going to do for frustration next week? Lancaster Co.
