98—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, December 24,1977 For the second month in a row, a cow in the herd of Clarence Mase had the highest butterfat record in the Lebanon County DHIA. “Peanuts,” an 8-year-old, churned out 22,798 pounds of milk, testing four per cent fat, for a total of 921 pounds of butterfat. The highest milk producing cow was in the herd of Willow Maple Farm. “Mary,” a 3-year-old, produced 26,178 pounds of milk.
