A feature of the new farm bill is of particular im portance to Pennsylvania dairy farmers since it provides indemnification for milk farmers may be forced 9:30 A.M. Lancaster Farming, Saturday, November 5,1977- It was Mrs. McCullon’s 33rd birthday anniversary.. . and the crowd of delegates sang the traditional “Happy Birthday” wish. But there was a note of tragedy, too. Mrs. McCullon explained, in a choked voice, that her mother had died last Wednesday, October 19. Luther Snyder, State Grange master. Dairy council meets CHAMBERSBURG - The Franklin County 4-H Dairy Council board met recently at the County Extension office. There were not enough dairy clubs represented to get an accurate accounting or vote on the question of removing the 4-H Dairy Roundup from the Fair. Therefore, smee the Fair Board needed an answer by November 1, a decision was made to keep the Roundup in the Fair for 1978 and put the question on the ballot at the covered dish supper. There are many ideas for improving the new 4-H Dairy Project Books, in use since October, 1976. They will continue to be used for the time being, while a com mittee puts together a revised version.
