FUNNY CAKE PIE
Upper Part:
Vz cup granulated sugar
Va cup shortening
legg
M: cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup flour
Vz teaspoon vanilla
Lower Part:
Vz cup granulated sugar
V 4 cup cocoa
Vs cup hot water
v 4 teaspoon vanilla
Mix top part like cake
batter, creaming shortening,
and adding sugar and egg.
Add milk alternately with
sifted ingredients.
For lower part combme
sugar and cocoa. Add hot
water and vanilla. Line pie
plate with a pie crust. Add
lower part of funny cake to
pie shell, then pour top part

PEANUTBUTTER
FINGERS
Vz cup butter
4 cup granulated sugar
Vz cup packed brown sugar

4 cup peanut butter
Vz teaspoon baking soda
Va teaspoon salt
Vz teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup oatmeal (quick)
6 oz. chocolate chips
Cream butter, gradually
adding sugars. Cream well.
Blend in egg, peanut butter,
baking soda, salt, and
vanilla Add flour and oat
meal. Mix well. Spread in
buttered 13 x 9 inch pan.
Bake at 350° F for 20 to 25
minutes, until lightly
browned.

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup molasses
1 cup warm water

1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Mix ingredients and beat
until all are well mixed.
Pour mto unbaked nme inch
pie shell and bake at 350°F.

3 A cup margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2% cups flour
1 3 oz. package of flavored
gelatin
Preheat over to 360°F.
Cream margarine, sugar,
eggs, and gelatin until light
and fluffy. Add sifted dry
ingredients and mix
thoroughly. Roll into small

1 egg yolk (slightly beaten)
6 tablespoons butter
% cup brown sugar
1 egg white
1 cup pineapple
Vi cup nuts
Cook milk, sugar, tapioca
or cornstarch, and salt, then
add egg yolk. Cook more and
then cool. Melt butter and
brown sugar, then cool. Add
egg white, pineapple, and
nuts. Mix all ingredients
together and serve when
cool.
