    Wentz wins Baker scholarship

Wentz, 17, of Carlisle Rl, a
freshman at The Penn
sylvania State University
majoring in animal science,
has been named recipient of
a $2OO Allen L. Baker 4-H
Scholarship.

1958 from the Cooperative
Extension Service staff after
serving 38 years as State 4-H
Club leader.
The son of Mr. and Mrs.
Alan B. Wentz, Timothy has
been a 4-H member for five
years.
A member of the Sheaffer
4-H Community Club and 4-H
Light Horse and Pony Club,
General utility building
he served as president, vice
president, and treasurer. He
also assisted with club ac
tivities and events as a teen
leaders.
The scholarship winner
completed projects in horse,
wood science, bicycle, com,
and veterinary science.
Locally, Timothy took part
in the roundup, fund day,
teen leader training, camp,
exchange program, horse
judging, and demonstration
day.
He also participated m the
Regional 4-H Teen Leaders
Retreat, District 4-H Horse
