The rigorous competition
included judging categories
of beef, sheep and hogs,
NEW RECORDS ESTABLISHED
identifying 25 cuts of meat
and answering a senes of 50
questions. The ten in
dividuals who accumulated
the most points from those
tests of skill were then in
terviewed by a panel of five
judges. As a final exhibit of
their skills, the ten were
each expected to show a
sheep, a hog and a beef in a
final judging.

the Lancaster County
Poultry Association on
November 3 at 6:30 p.m.
Entertainment for the
annual banquet will be the
Sweet Adelines, a women’s
barbershop group, who will
include a sing-along as part
