Thomas A. Wilson, market ad ministrator, stated that over 90 percent of those producers casting ballots voted yes on the amended order. Wilson said there has been some confusion in the milkshed as to whether the referendum had passed, owing m part to a lawsuit filed by Pennmarva Dairymen’s Federation, Inc. (Pennmarva). He wanted to assure dairymen that the referendum was approved and that the effective date for the amended marketing order is November 1,1977.
