Saturday, October 15, 1577 Penn team uMVERSITY PARK The Livestock Juding Team from The Pennsylvania State University won first place recently at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Mass. The Penn State team was first overall and first in beef cattle, swine, and sheep. High individual in the contest was Dan Dailey of Cochranton, who placed first in judging beef cattle and fifth in sheep. Second place in the overall competition was won by the Ron Lane of Ebensburg, who ranked first in judging swine and sheep. Dan Baum of Elizabethtown, was third highest individual by placing second in sheep and third in beef cattle. Jane Mellott of Mc- Connellsburg, placed fourth overall, and was second in beef cattle judgmg. Carl McCullough of Mercer, was fifth highest individual and placed fourth m judging swine. Other individual honors went to Wes McAllister of Oxford, who placed fifth in beef cattle judging; Paul Tuttle of Wyalusing, who took second in swine selection; and Joan Liesau of Spring City, who won third in swine judging.
