Maryland Department of
Agriculture’s Division of
Marketing is implementing
a program entitled
“Operation Maryland
Haylift”. Its purpose is to
unite Maryland farmers who
have hay or straw for sale
with those in dire need in
that commodity.
In order to alleviate the
plight of those farmers with
inadequate supplies, the
MDA Division of Marketing
is compiling a hay and straw
directory. Currently, MDA
marketing specialist Brad
Powers is seeking farms
where hay and straw are
