champion market swine at the New Holland Community Fair on Thursday.

the New Holland 4-H beef show. Standing behind the animal is Kenneth Stoitz
fus, representing the buyers, Stoltzfus Meats, Intercourse. The champion sold
for $1.25 per pound.

BEEFSALE
Later in the afternoon at
the beef sale, Glenn Yoder
received $1.25 per pound
from Stoltzfus Meats, In
tercourse, for his grand
champion. At 1060 pounds,
the total amount earned by
Yoder was $1325. This is the
second consecutive year the
butcher shop purchased the
champion. Last year’s price
was $2.00 per pound.
The reserve champion
steer owned by Janae Martin
sold for $.66 per pound to
Riverside Beef Company,
Riverside, N.J. At 1040
