Judged by Dr. Robert Herr, the Suffolk lamb had been awarded to Frey by the Penn Manor FFA Chatter. It was the first time that Frey had shown in competition. In the Market lambe pen of three, top winner was 10 year old Pam Jeffries, Delta R 2. In the breeding sheep classes, James Jefferies bad the champion ram and ewe in the Dorset division while Billy MacCauley, Atglenßl, did the same with his Suf folks in his class. The champion Shropshire ewe was shown by Fred Keyes, Cochranville Rl, while Gerald Rohrer took top and reserve honors in the Southdowns with his ewe lamb. Junior fitting class winner was Gerald Rohrer, a first year member of the Red Rose Beef and Sheep dub of Lancater County. Sixteen year old Fred Keyes took top placing in the senior fitting. In the grooming classes, the senior winner was Billy MacCauley, who at 12 years of age, has been showing for about Vh years and is currently a member of the Golden Fleece 4-H dub.
