be able to take grain now
from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.,”
Hood continued, explaining
that he formerly had to close
down at 11 a.m. while con
tinuing to process grains 24
hours per day during the
harvest season. His total
storage capacity is around
200,000 bushels, which is
nearly triple of what it was
nine years ago when White
Horse Grain Company first
went into business.
Breckbill notes that White
Horse Grain is one of the few
companies in his area which
handles both shelled and ear
com. They hope to be able to
handle a million bushels of
grain during their first year
of operation.
