He was se cond in showmanship and first in fitting. Daniel Schlegal, Oley, had the grand champion sow of all breeds, a Chester White junior yearling sow, and a long list of first and second placings throughout the show. He has been showing at the Fair for 31 years. Among his other win ners were the champion and reserve champion boar pigs, a March boar and an April boar, respectively. Winners of the Warren B. Levengood Memorial Trophies for showmanship in each division were: Steven Shaw, Oley, for dairy; Kirk Fisher, Oley, for beef; Cathleen Wisser, Alburtis, for swine, and Davis Ernst for sheep.
