Holsteins in a show which involved Lancaster,
Franklin, Adams, Cumberland Dauphin, and
Lebanon County 4-H’ers. Shown with the best

Miss Gitt is an accomplished
showman. Her entries have
won here on previous oc
casions and then went on to
win state honors. She’s
eligible for that again next
month when the Penn
sylvania Junior Dairy Show
gets underway.
Miss Gift’s champion cow
is an 8-year old daughter of
Stookeyholm Crisscross
Jerico and was bred by John
Mathias of Larwill, Ind.

as reserve grand champion
was Dale Brandt’s 3%-year
old daughter of Arhnda
Sioux. Brandt, 18, is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur

The junior champion of the
4-H black and white show
belonged to Cumberland
Countian Michael Dyarman,
tiie 13-year old son of Mr. >
and Mrs. Paul Dyarman of
Shippensburg. He exhibited
a senior yearling sired by
Burley Marquis Astro-Twin.
Capturing the reserve junior
champion berth was Wayne
Helman of Franklin County.
The 18-year old son of Mr.
and Mrs. Raymond Helman,
Chambersburg R 2, the
young Franklin Countian
received the honor with a
junior yearling entry sired
by C Kenola Rocky.
