TOOLBAR
The Model A-8380 tool bar
built and sold by the John
Blue Company of Huntsville,
Ala., has been introduced to
the ag market.
The modular design - a
feature unique to John
Blue’s tool bar - enables the
buyer to order a unit having
any one of seven swath
widths.
Another design innovation
in the A-8380 is the use of
thermoplastic hose rather
than rubber hose for the
hydraulic lines to the tool
bar cylinders. After testing
their prototype tool bar
equipped with traditional
rubber hose, the
manufacturer switched to
“Parflex” thermoplastic
hydraulic hose. This brand
comes from the Hose
Products Division of Parker
Hannifin Corporation,
world’s largest manufac
turer of fluid-power com
ponents.
