Buffet service, like the
cafeteria service, is in
formal. The food is set out on
a table or buffet and the
customers pick up what they
want or tell an attendant and
the attendant serves them.
Sometimes there is a broiler
located to the rear of the
buffet to prepare short or
ders.
Many fast food chains
have added a salad bar to
their menu in an effort to
meet nutritional
requirements, but most
salads are not nutritionally
complete. A meal consisting
of hamburger, salad and soft
drink once again misses the
two vital vitamins A and C
and calcium and vitamins
found in milk.
