heifers closed 75-LOO lower.
Cows closed 1.50 to fully 2.00
higher on smaller receipts,
bulls fully steady.
Four day reciepts 16,000
compared 18,600 previous
-week and 14,800 a year ago.
Steers and heifers closed
lower consecutive week,
much of the downturn oc
currred Tuesday ac
companied by sharp declines
in the carlot dressed trade.
Receipts included a fair
percentage choice steers,
most of the heifer supply
good to average choice with
800-900 lb. heifers hard to
sell. Steers made up around
51 PCT of the weeks suoolv.

and feeders 6 PCT.
STEERS: At the close,
part load choice, end of
