At present, she tutors the four children once a week on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the farm and then visits each child individually on Thursdays. She makes all of her products from her herb garden and dries and packages her produce at the end of the Summer, as well. Her favorite dish is of the Moon and Star design. “I used to go the sales a lot,” she says, “but I don’t go that much anymore. But, when I do, I don’t go without money, I can tell you that!” she says with a laugh. And, while she aspires to making hand woven curtains for her home, so far she has only gotten around to wearing place mats on her loom. “I took a course with the Extension Service, but it takes more than one little course on weaving to be able to make drapes,” she chuckles. Gardening is also a hobby of Mrs. Butler’s. She par ticularly enjoys Cannas, Dahlias, and Calla Lillies, the majority of which have to be taken out of the ground in BIG SAVINGS ON 76 MODELS (While They Last!) Her husband Lewis and her son Jay are in partnership together on a 168-acre dairy and poultry farm. On that farm, Mrs. Bixler's job is to gather the eggs from their 12000 layers. So, combining her hobbies and talents, Mrs. Bixler is a busy woman who likes to keep busy with “something new to do” at all times.
