Grain meeting set EPHRATA, Pa. - Penn sylvania grain dealers will meet near Lancaster on June 27 to participate in the an nual grain meeting spon sored each year by PennAg Industries Association, a trade organization of some 400 Pennsylvania agribusiness firms. The meeting will be held at the Sheraton-Conestoga Motor Inn north of Lancaster. The grain meeting will get underway with dinner at 6:30 iSISI " \ . -A p.m. Claude Freeman, ac ting director for the Grains, Oilseeds, and Cotton division of the USDA’s Agricultural Stabilization and Con servation Service, will speak to the group about the Carter administration’s views on agricultural programs. He will also discuss the factors influencing this year’s markets for food and feed grains. Freeman has been with the USDA since 1951. Earlier in the day, from 2 to 4 p.m., there’ll be a grain seminar devoted to an up date on grain quality, farm legislation, grain inspection changes and air pollution control at grain elevators. The seminar will be conducted by Dr. Harvey L. Kiser and Paul A. Nelson. Kiser is director of economic services for the Nation Grain Sc Feed Association, while Nelson heads up the association’s information services.
