This is the Role of Excellence Show for Area 7 of - the American- International Charolais Association. The Eastern National Charolais Sale has marketed over $2,000,000 worth of high quality breeding cattle. It is a sale of national importance and flavor, and has established many record prices, some of which still stand. In 1970 the Eastern National Charolais Sale established the world record price at auction for a Charolais bull when LCR Sir Royal Sam 790 (Polled) sold for $165,000 for one-half interest. Ibis world’s record still stands. Monterey Jack is a mild cheese that comes in creamy white wheels or slices. If you’re starting your cheese adventures, begin with mild cheese before graduating to the more flavorful and aromatic ones. Monterey Jack is especially good in an open face sandwich made with a slice of ham, then topped with the cheese and broiled long enough to melt the cheese. 33
