The monthly meeting of
the Berks County Society of
Farm Vromen, Group 4 was
held at the home of Mrs.
Katherine Harrison,
Boyerstown R 3 on May 3.

announced committees for
the coming year.
They are; auditing, Mrs.

craft demonstrations. She
showed the members how to
press flowers to be used in
making note paper, and
showed them how to do
quilling.
Hostesses for the meeting
were Mrs. Sara Holsberg
and Mrs. Margaret Bowers.
Speaker for the evening
was the Reverend Bill
Drury, who spoke on
“Problems in Lancaster
County.”
On May 12 Farm Women
Society 6 will entertain
Society 28 at a luncheon at
Conestoga at 12:30 p.m.
The next meeting will be
held on May 26, beginning at
9:30 a.m. for a tour of the
Epbrata Cloisters, An
derson Pretzel bakery, and
White chimneys with lunch
at the Landis Valley Motor
Inn.
