Enterotoxemia
takes toll of lambs
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.
- Enterotoxemia, or over
eating disease, takes a toll of
the best lambs in many
sheep flocks, says specialists
at Penn State University.
Good lambs getting plenty
of milk from their dams or
being fed gram from a creep
may suddenly die without
showing symptoms. When
lambs do show symptoms of
enterotoxemia, they are
depressed and wobbly

This is mime insulation mliy saves!
it’s a fact ... in an uninsulated home, adding about 10
inches of insulation in the attic floor can cut heating costs
by 15 to 20 per cent. In summer, it will also save>on air con
ditioning costs.
Of all the ways to save money and energy, this is one of
the wisest investments you can make in your home. Even if
you have some attic insulation ... unless it’s approximately
10-inches thick, there’s room for improvement.
Naturally, adding insulation to walls and other areas of
your home can be beneficial too. Let’s just say that your
attic is a good place to start.
So, contact an insulation dealer soon. Ask him about the
different types of insulation and their “R-values.” R stands
for thermal “resistance” and the higher the R-value, the
more effective the insulation will be. For attics, R-30 is
what we recommend.
