Society members of No. 19 and the Lancaster County officers were the guests. Marlene Hershey and the Hersheyettes were the highlight of the evening as they entertained with music, both gospel and patriotic. They also per formed some humorous commercials- Each member and guest responded to the roll by telling what they had done that day. In May the group is planning to tour Winterther Gardens. Lebanon Co. Society 5 At the April meeting of Lebanon County Farm Women Society 5 it was s decided that Jill Walmer of Northern Lebanon High School was the outstanding home economics student who would receive a gift of $lO from the group. This meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Luetta Graybill, Jonestown Rl. The next meeting will be a white elephant sale (50 cents or more) at the home of Phyllis Himmelberger, Jonestown R 2. York Co, Society 27 The Mt. Royal Society of Farm Women, Group 27, is in the process of reviewing county and local by-laws. Members approved a donation of $5O to the Dover area wrestling booster program at the high school. A $5O donation also was approved for the York County Farm Women’s scholarship fund. Five members will attend the county sponsored “Spring Rally”at the York Fairgounds on May 11. Area residents are reminded that the Farm Women have hospital sup plies available to anyone in need of them at no charge. Any member may be con tacted for information.
