A registered Holstein cow owned by Paul V. Nissley,.
Holtwood, completed the hipest 305 day lactation. Tina
produced 21,260 pounds of milk, 913 pounds of butterfat
with a 4.3 per cent test. Second high lactation was com
pleted by a registered Holstein cow owned by Don Ranck,
Paradise. Pin produced 23,961 pounds of milk, 898 pounds
of butterfat with 3.7 per cent test in 305 days.
The herd of Jacob S. Dienner, Gordonville, had the
highest daily butterfat average. His herd of 34 registerd
and grade Holstein cows averaged 62 pounds of milk, 2.36
pounds of butterfat with a 3.8 per cent test. The herd of
John E. Fisher, Gordonville, placed second with 32
registered and grade Holstein cows averaging 63.9 pounds
of milk, 2.30 pounds of butterfat with a 3.6 per cent test.
