The Surge Sawtooth Parlor is
designed for the man who likes
to handle cows in groups. It
minimizes operator travel and
makes it easier to observe cow
movement in and out of the
parlor. Udders and milking
units are also more easily
observed.
1. Milking Stalls. Surge Sawtooth
herringbone milking parlor stalls
provide maximum access to the cow for
preparation and milking.
2. Pipelines. Properly sized, welded
pipelines mounted below the cow
platform with adequate slope protect
milk quality and flavor. They also
contribute to a more stable milking
vacuum at the teat end.
3. Milker Units. The Surge Mini-cup
offers mobility, visibility and greater
capacity than other claw-type units.
Functional C.I.P. design for rapid
milking and better sanitation.
4. Vacuum. Your Surge dealer con
siders the total vacuum system. Pump
capacity, line size and vacuum con
trollers are coordinated to meet the
specific needs of your milking system.
5. C.I.P. Cleaning. Your Surge dealer
will analyze your water and recommend
cleaning procedures and compounds
consistent with local regulations and
good sanitation practices.
6. Pulsation. An important con
sideration in obtaining fast milking
action and proper teat massage is that
the pulsation control, pulsators, shells
and inflations be properly matched.
7. Milk Receiving Equipment. Surge
Engineering arranges all milk handling

stainless steel panel.
