A resolution was passed by the CVA to try and save the Barley farm through a combination of legislative action, re-cycling and the use of Lachester t .andfill on the Lancaster- Chester county line near Honey Brook. The CVA joined legislators and other groups in en couraging that opponents to LARA’s plans attend a LARA meeting this coming Tuesday afternoon; attend the March 23 meeting of the Manor Township super visors, and visit LARA members personally. Last year, working women earned a median income of $6,957, compared with $12,152 for men. Since 1962, the number of women lawyers has more than tripled in this country, and the number of women physicians has increased two and a half times.
