Twin Valley FFA wins in county contest ELVERSON, Pa. - Nine members of the Twin Valley Future Fanners of America earned awards in the Berks County FFA project record book contest. All vocational agriculture students and FFA members are required to keep a record of some project during the school year. These projects may be productive in nature (raising an animal or crop), may be a job (working for a farmer or agribusinessman), or may be supervised skill development at school (working in the nursery, orchard, or shop during study periods or after school). Record books on these projects are judged by the vocational agriculture teachers on the basis of accuracy, completeness, and neatness. Books which earn awards in the county con tests were then eligible to compete in the Pennsylvania contest, which took place this week.
