MASSEY-FERGUSON COMBINES Several major im provements, including a new “Constant Mesh” tran smission, have been made in the 1977 models of the Massey-Ferguson 750 and 760 combines. Most of the changes are designed to increase operator comfort and ease of operation. The new, larger heavy duty “Constant Mesh” transmission is standard equipment on both the MF 750 and MF 760 combines. It is a two-range (HI and LO), two-speed (1 and 2) tran smission. Perforated black vinyl covering with polyurethane foam backing has been installed on the inside cab roof, control box on right side, area behind the operator and left door panel. The cab deck has been covered with a rubber floor mat with sisal backing. All openings for control levers have been sealed with rubber boots or plastic-type seals. International control symbols are used for gauges and combine function controls. The electro-magnetic header throwout, formerly available on rice combines only, has been released for all grain combines. For easier steering, the rear axle is equipped with twin hydraulic rams on the MF 750 grain combine and all MF 760 combines.
