Richard Maule receives 50-year IMPCO award
Richard Maule, extreme right, was honored by
Inter-State Milk Producers Cooperative on
Thursday for having been a member of the
Philadelphia-based dairy cooperative for 50 years.
Maule, 72, has been farming for all of his life and
continues tp be active with his chosen profession.
He keeps approximately 60 Guernseys milking on
his southern Lancaster County farm. Also honored

is set for Tuesday, January 25th in the auditorium of the
Farm and Home Center, 1383 Arcadia Road, Lancaster. This
all-day program will include the following presentations:
8:30 • 9:30 a.m. - Inspect Exhibits - enjoy coffee and
doughnuts
9:30 a.m. - “What Lies Ahead For The Cattle Feeder” by
Louis Moore, Penn State Economist
10:30 a.m. - “Beef Cattle Health” - Dr. Larry Hutchinson
Extension Veterinarian, Penn State University
11:15 a.m. - “Reducing Costs Through Implants, Stimulants,
And Additives” - Dr. Lester Burdette, Livestock Ex
