FFA’ ers receive
Ronald Lee Forrey
Elizabethtown
High School
Ronald Lee Forrey is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar
Forrey, Elizabethtown Rl.
In his FFA experience,
Forrey has held the offices of
treasurer, vice president,
and county reporter.
Awards he has received
over the years include Star
Greenhand, Star Chapter,
and Star Red Rose. He has
also won a silver medal for
his project book at the
county level and a bronze
medal in the state com
petition.
The Keystone Farmer’s
projects include swine
breeding, swine fattening,
com, tobacco, and a heifer.
Last summer he traveled
to Germany for his local
chapter on the WEA
program.
Some of Forrey’s interests
aside from farming are
football and wrestling. He
has his varsity letter in both.
His future plans are to go
to college to study
agriculture and to be a
manager of a swine farm
and-or start his own

Jeffrey Aungst
Jeffrey Lynn Aungst
Elizabethtown
High School
Jeffrey Lynn Aungst is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram S.
Aungst, Elizabethtown Rl.
He will be receiving his
Keystone Farmer Degree
this Wednesday at the
Future Farmers of
American Winter con
vention.
The offices that Aungst has
held in FFA are assistant
sentinel, sentinel, and
president of the
Elizabethtown FFA Chapter.
He has received the Sfar
Chapter Farmer award
along with the other degrees
required to work up to the
state degree. He also
received an award in dairy
judging and was the third
place winner in the county
small engine contest. In the
state project book contest he
received a gold medal.
The Keystone Farmer’s
FFA projects are two dairy
cows, four dairy heifers,
com, and wheat.
Outside interests for
Aungst include the Word of
Life Chapel Youth Group in
which he is the president.
Aungst’s tentative future
plans are to continue far
ming with his father on their
54 acre dairy farm. They
also rent 90 additional acres.
Larry Gross
Larry Gross
Northern Lebanon
High School
Larry Gross, the son of Mr.
and Mrs. Howard B. Gross of
Meyerstown H 3, is a senior
at Northern Lebanon High
School and will receive his
Keystone Farmer Degree
this year. His two brothers
received their Keystone
Farmer Degrees in 1966 and
in 1972.
Gross has been enrolled in
vo-ag classes and has been a
member of the Northern
Lebanon F.F.A. for four
years.
He participated in the
Greenhand creed contest
and the quiz contest on the
county level. He also par
ticipated in a land judging
contest and the project book
contests on the county level.
On the state level, he has
received gold medals in a
number of project book
contests. He has also
presided over three state
gold award winning
parliamentary procedure
teams.
Gross attended the
National F.F.A. Convention
in Kansas City during 1974
and this past summer
traveled to Washington D.C.
to attend the National
Leadership Training Con
ference.
He is now serving as
president of the Northern
Lebanon F.F.A. chapter and
as secretary of the Lebanon
County chapter. In the past
he has held the offices of
assistant reporter and as
sentinel of his local group.

High School, is the son of Mr.
