To qualify as an of ficial entry, Rosenfeld and others had to harvest shelled corn from not less than four adjacent rows running the full length of the field. His crop was planted on April 28 in 30-inch rows at 23.000 seeds per acre. It was harvested on November 18 at 21.8 per cent moisture. Harvest population was 22.000 plants per acre. He applied a total of 175 pounds nitrogen, 50 pounds phosphorous, and 50 pounds potash in his fertilizer program. Wissler’s yield of 153.4 bushels per acre was with Pit Pumps 6’ to 12' receive national recognition Funk’s G-4737. It was ad justed to No. 2 corn at 15.5 percent moisture from 2.3 acres. Wissler’s crop was planted on May 8 in 30-inch rows at 22,600 seeds per acre. It was harvested on November 13 at 25 per cent moisture. Har vest population was 19,800 plants per acre. He applied a total of 160 pounds nitrogen, 55 pounds phosphorous, and 55 pounds potash in his fertilizer program. He used AAtrex- Lasso for weed control. Frey Bros.’ yield of 155.2 bushels per acre was with Funk’s G-4520. It was ad justed to No. 2 corn at 15.5 percent moisture from 2.4 acres. Frey Bros.’ crop was planted in 30-inch rows at 22,000 seeds per acre. It was harvested on October 11 at 27 percent moisture.
