Poultry over a year ago HARRISBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania poultry production continued at levels above the 1975 production during the week ending Dec. 1, according to the Crop Reporting Service. Placements of broiler chicks were 1,756,000. The placements were 41 per cent above the corresponding week a year ago and about the same as during the previous week. Average placements during the past 10 weeks were 25 per cent above a year earlier. Placements in the 21 key poultry producing states were 60,656,000, four per cent more than the same week a year earlier, but three per cent below the previous week.
