The sale was attended by an especially large crowd. The IVz story brick dwelling erected on an acre of woodland brought $46,000 and was sold to Paul K. Farrel, 321 Parkview Dr., Manheim, Pa. Other items sold included: Wooden Shaking Forks from $75 to $2lO, Painted milk cans $5O to $75 ea., 1962 Bel- Air Chev. A Public Auction of a Mahantongo Valley Farm was held Nov. 27 by the estate of Wellington L. Maurer 2 miles east of Klingerstown, Schuylkill Co., 1 a Tract No. 1 with 24 acres of level land sold for $25,000. The second tract containing 3 acres With a IVz story dwelling, small stream and poultry house brought $6,500 while the third tract con sisting of 1 acre with small stream and bam sold for $2500. Austin Winemiller, about IVz miles northeast of Fawn Grove, York Co., Pa. on November' 27th. It was a beautiful day and a tremendous crowd attended. The registered Hereford bull sold for $420 and Hereford cows sold from $250 to $325. Farm machinery sold as follows: 2 Farmall 350 tractors $1650 & $1550, Int. single row com picker $9OO, M.F.
