Loew pointed out that the national average for this business is 230-235 eggs-hen housed. “These people have achieved figures in excess of 240 in a 52-week production period,” said the sales manager. “The highest four were over 270, with the top man at 275.9,” he continued. “These are outstanding production figures,” he exclaimed. Held at the' Plain and Fancy Restaurant near here, the meeting was attended by 86 Lancaster County farmers - most of which were Amish. The four top men received battery powered wall clocks in recognition of their ac complishment, in addition to trophies.
