*22,000 bagged at feeder sale
HARRISBURG - The 1976
Keystone International
Livestock Exposition was
host to a feeder calf show
and sale. After competition
in the morning, the calves
were auctioned off in the
evening. The sale netted*
$22,236.15, for 93 calves.
___ Irvington Farms, sold for
PT| Y| Q $2,952.60. Total weight of the
V>'-K.JLJLJL •feeder calves sold was 39,890
pounds. An average price of
55.74 cents was paid for each
pound of calf.
In the show, Irvington
Farms received the award
for grand champion pen of
the show and champion steer
pen for their pen of five
Angus steer calves. The
reserve grand champion pen
and reserve champion steer
pen of five went to John R.
Johnston, Lewisburg, W. Va.
for his five crossbred steers.
