exhibitor honors.
Widesen Herefords
dominated the bulll awards,
taking all but reserve junior
champion honors. Their
grand champion bull is a
spring yearling bull which
also took the senior cham
pion honors.
In the female competition
in the Hereford classes,
Widesen Herefords showed
the reserve senior and grand
champion in partnership
with Dutchman Herefords
and Martinez, Uniontown,

The grand champion Hereford bull at the
Keystone International Exposition was shown by
Mr. and Mrs. John Wildeson of Uniontown, Md.
female was shown by the
Woodbury Stock Farm,
Jasper, NY.
Amelia Peabody showed
the junior champion female,
“POW MS BE,” a junior
heifer calf.
ANGUS
Showmen from Con
necticut, New Jersey and
Pennsylvania split the top
awards in Angus breeding
cattle classes.
Jacob Tanis, Augusta, N. J.
was named both premier
exhibitor and premier
breeder in the show, held
Tuesday. He showed the bull
calf champion, “Ideals
Americana.”
Pennsylvania State
Universtiy showed the grand
champion bull, “P S Great
Northern 064”, which also
received senior champion
bull honors. In addition
another Penn State entry, in
conjunction with McKean
Brothers and Mr. and Mrs.
John Woods, University
Park, Centre County - was
senior champion bull. The
bull was a two-year-old
named “P S Freestate 154.”
Penn State won awards in
the female competition with
“P S Northern Princess
285,” named reserve grand
champion female and in-
termediate champion, and
“P S Miss Bardolier 016,”
the reserve heifer calf
champion.
The grand champion
female Angus, “Hedgerows
Jestress,” was shown by
Hedferows Farm, West
Cornwall, Conn.
“Hedgerows Jestress” had
been acclaimed the junior
champion female prior to
her winning the grand
championship.
