preserves upholstery UNIVERSITY PARK - Regular care will keep upholstered furniture looking its best while reducing wear if you follow these guidelines for general care and cleaning: Vacuum cushions once a week. Be sure to clean ar mrests, back, and crevices. A soft bristled brush may also be used. If cushions are reversible, turn them each week when cleaning to allow un dersections to “breathe” and the fabric to wear evenly. Use partial slip covers on arm and headrest areas which receive the most wear.
