RUSSEL KUNE Saying that he’s lost a lot before he came up with winning animals, Kline credits the turnaround to having gained more ex perience and better entries. He’s been showing dairy cattle since his freshman year at Ephrata High School. While having “lost a lot” over the years, he remembers that his breakthrough into the winner’s circle came with a cham calf given to him by the Cloister FFA Chapter. After that came “Ingra,” his prize-winning cow which stood undefeated at local, regional and state shows for three consecutive years. This year, however, he chose to take “Chflokie Vanalso Royal” to the shows. She stood second at the Junior Dairy Show in Harrisburg, and won the highest honors here at Ephrata. He pur chased her a year ago at a sale in Mifflin County. His father is a cattle dealer.
