Held here during the Ephrata Fair, the contest represented seven boys from Lancaster County schools and one from Chester County. Hershey, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hershey, scored a first in the main tenance test, a third m the written exam, and first overall. There were four parts to the “driving con test” -written exam, trouble shooting, maintenance, and actual driving.
