The brothers belong to the Cloister FFA chapter and are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Eberly. One of the brothers, Gary, feels that the awardwinning characteristic of the hog was that it was a “fresher pit,” or one that was just right for its size in proportion of fat to muscle. It definitely was a trim, lean animal, which the Martin top trartor driver Irrothers attribute to the fart that their hog* arc fenced off on a hill and the animals must do a lot of uphill climbing in Ihrlr tlail> lra\ eia 7og*ther. the brothers hair about 2i hogs in part nership which is easier when it romn to figuring out records. and last >ear the> had the reKfir champion animal in the 1- h A contest at the l’enns> Ivanla Farm Show In general. hn«nrr t.ar> figures it lakes a good pig to start out with to take top honors His pig was bred b> (.Icn Noll.
