initiated in 1960. Penn
sylvania won the title in 1961,
1962, 1964, 1967, and 1973,
more than any other state.

petition included a
demonstration of driving
skills' in maneuvering a
vehicle through an obstacle
course, a written
examination covering safety
rules and regulations,
knowledge of first aid and
fire fighting methods, ability
to detect and diagnose
mechanical trouble.

eggs, 3; broilers, 3; turkeys,
1 and sheep and lambs 0.5 for
a total of 58.5 percent. The
remainder of the farm cash
receipts of 41.5 percent came
from all crops.
