Because of ram, the picnic
planned for the Huffnagle
Park was moved to the social
rooms of Quarryville
Methodist Church.
After lunch, the meeting
was called to order by Vice
President, Dorothy Huber.
President Violet Eshleman
was m charge of the business
meeting.
Roll call was answered by
19 members and two guests
by each giving a historical
event m Solanco.
The minutes and the
treasurer's reports were
read and approved. Sunshine
report was given. Committee
for arranging a bus trip in
the fall reported, and it was
decided to go to St. Peter’s
Village on Oct. 14.
August meeting will be
held at the Robert Fulton Inn
on Aug. 26, at which time the
Society’s 50th Anniversary
will be celebrated. Reser
vations for the luncheon
should be given to Mrs. John
Swarr before Aug. 24.

level course in grain
marketing. And farmers
