Convention, one of the oldest
annual gatherings of
poultrymen in the country,
moves into New England for
the first time in its 45-year
history. With an expected
attendance of over 1,000 egg,
broiler and turkey producers
from eastern U.S. and
Canada, it will be staged in
the big, modem Springfield
Civic Center from August 24
through 26.
To encourage family at
tendance during this
bicentennial year here in the
“cradle of Colonial
America”, sponsors of the
annual 14-state convention
and exposition have
prepared a schedule of
special bicentennial events
taking place in August within
convenient touring distance
in New England’s famed
