West Strasburg Road, West
Chester, and Stephanie
Jones, 17, of 175 West Ridge
Pike, Limerick, have been
selected as two of several
Pennsylvania youths to
serve on a 4-H Report to
State Group.
The members of the group
will be available to speak to
organizations at local,
regional and state levels,
including 4-H Clubs, College
of Agriculture Alumni
groups, legislators and
church and school functions.
They may also make per
sonal appearances at con
ventions and other large
meetings.
Roberta, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. George Ek
dahl, will be a junior next fall
at Downingtown Senior High
School. She has been a 4-H
member for six years.

Council. A teen leader, she
was a member of the float
committee and,the fair booth
committee.

tivities, Bobbie participated

State 4-H Club Congress at
Penn State, State Days, and
will attend a state meeting of

gaining
HARRISBURG - Poultry
production in Pennsylvania
dipped slightly during the
week ending June 26, 1976,
according to the Crop
Reporting Service.
Placements of broiler chicks
were 1,455,000.
The placements were 13
per cent below the previous
week, but one per cent above
the corresponding week a
year ago. Average
placements during the past
ten weeks were 19 per cent
above a year earlier.
In the 21 key poultry
producing states,
placements were 67,860,000.
This figure is one per cent
below the previous week, but
12 per cent more than the
same week in 1975.
