Those chosen to attend the Institute are: Roberta Ek dahl, West Chester; Edward Kulp and Eugene Kulp, both of Pottstown; Lane Keen, Glenmoore; Stephen Greer, Oxford; Bruce Wrigley, Cochranville and Dawn Gidner, Thornton, first-year scholars; and Catherine E. Wollaston, Toughkenamon; Edwin A. Mast, Elverson; and David Nolan, Bir chrunville. The council youths cooperative way of doing business, and on activities of the participants identifying them with school, com munity, church, and youth organizations. Theseyoung leaders will be accompanied to Ship pensburg 'by Thomas E. Mitchell, assistant county agricultural agent, who will act as chaperone and resource .person for- the delegation. The Institute programs is designed to teach youth more about the business enterprise system in the United States to help them in planning their future by pointing our career possibilities in agribusiness, and provide opportunities for individual - leadership development. Approximately 250 young adults, representing the best of over 4,000 participants in the annual P.A.F.C. youth education program, will attend the four-day event. The Institute is a joint effort of the Pennsylvania Association* of Farmer Cooperatives, local Co-op Councils, and the College of Agriculture of The Penn sylvania State University. for ree -estimate purpose of the luncheon was to give WEA participants an opportunity to visit with host country representatives and discuss 'their plans for the summer experience program. Other Embassy representatives also . at tended the luncheon and participated in an orien tation program ' .that followed. The luncheon was part of a four-day orientation program conducted by the National FFA Organization for WEA participants prior to leaving for their host countries. Following the orientation, Bragg and other FFA members departed to Washington, D.C., for a further briefing in Luxembourg prior to their placement in Europe. The FFA “Work Ex perience Abroad” program is sponsored by the National SFA Organizaiton to give FFA members an op-' portunity to become .Acquainted with students Observing and using the agricultural methods of their host country as they learn the history, culture, traditions,'and life styles.
