Dairy princess contest to highlight promotion week | The Lebanon County Dairy Princess Contest will be held June 12 at Boscov’s in the Lebanon Valley Mall. The pageant will be the highlight of three days of dairy promotion. Slated events include a milking contest to be staged on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of that week with a petting zoo being provided for children- Several area 4- H Clubs and dairy businesses will be presenting exhibits also. Carmelle Hernley - is the 20-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Delmas Hernley, Lebanon R 3 and is a graduate of Northern Lebanon High School. She is attending Susquehanna University majoring in sociology and German. She is active in the Symphonic Band and is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. The young lady comes from a Holstein Dairy farm also.
