Preliminary plans call for all that which pertains to crops and soils to be on display in the Penney's Mall. Other malls will feature poultry, dairy, pigs, sheep, beef, and farm machinery. Members present at the meeting expressed con siderable confidence that a number of eyes would open wide and jaws would drop when the price of modern machinery is revealed to the public. In addition, the Association is planning on having some displays on hand which tell of the organization and its services to members. Those serving on com mittees are asked not to query Park City officials until the second week m June, since the proper contacts will not be available until then. Among the suggestion made for making the most out of this PR event, were; getting the Pa. Secretary of Agriculture to make an appearance, announce the happenings to all of the media in the area, and set up realistic displays of farm scenes such as parlor equipment, field work, etc. Accompanying charts would point out the significance and costs of each. Ideally, the LCFA would like to have members on duty at the Mall day and night to answer the public’s questions and some plans for activities at Park City.
