They included Dale Lomas, Qaymont; Janet Cannon, Bridgeville; William French, Marydel, Maryland; and Faithette Foreman, Dover. State winners in the contest receive $5O U.S. Savings Bonds, provided by Union Oil Company of California in Palatine, Illinois. They are also each eligible for one of eighteen trips to National 4-H Congress and one of six $BOO educational scholarships on a competitive besis with other state winners in public speaking. The contest was judged by Jerry Webb, agricultural editor at the University of Delaware.
